This standard shall govern theinstallation of CPVC piping (IPSpipe and SDR-11 tubing) in potablehot and cold water distributingsystems within buildings. (Forallowable locations and pressure,see Sections 2.9.2 and 2.9.4)Installation, material and inspectionshall comply with the current editionof the UPC [UPC]TM, published bythe International Association ofPlumbing and Mechanical Officials,and shall also comply with thisstandard.
