Description
The objective of this study outlined by a slide presentation was to develop a battery of standardbio-analytical methods, combined with chemicalanalysis, to thoroughly examine the estrogenic orbiological activity of ultraviolet (UV)/UV-advanced oxidation processes (AOP) treated water asindicators of effective treatment. Topics covered include: chemical and biological methods for thedetection of endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs);experimental design for BPA following UVand UV/H2O2 AOPs;comparison of removal efficiencybetween LP-and MP-UV lamp systems; and, larval toxicity of UV/AOP-treated solution. Includes figures.
