Description
The primary objective of this study is to develop a strategy for the recovery and identification of human pathogenic microsporidia from natural waters using a combination of research approaches including filtration/elution, immunomagnetic separation, cell culture, continuous flow centrifugation and flow cytometry. A secondary objective is to consider methods for the assessment of spore viability. Includes 22 references, table.
