Description
In a four month pilot study, six different 10 cm x 100 cm (4 in x 40 in) spiral-wound (SW) nanofiltration (NF) membrane elements were operated in parallel to treat a low turbidity surface water. This project determined the rejections of disinfection byproduct (DBP) precursors by NF; and evaluated membrane fouling by low turbidity surface waters.
