Description
This powerpoint presentation begins by providing the goals of valuation analysis: asset stewardship; financial planning; and,strategic planning. The valuation methodology uses a modified asset approach that uses total replacement cost plus overhead (design, management, etc.), less depreciation(percent of used life (age and condition)),multiplied by total replacement cost – equals: replacement cost new lessdepreciation (RCNLD). An example of valuation as a “jump start” to assetmanagement is presented, along with the following topics: calculation of value;results of valuation analysis; demonstration of LRW Asset Valuation Database; and, best management practices assessment.
