Description
Because a periodic repair program has not been cost-effective in replacing inaccurate meters, the author suggests a statistical sampling scheme as an alternative program. The theory and design of the sampling test are described. The proposed program will reduce meter changes and repairs and their associated costs. Includes 10 references, tables, figure.
