Description
Recent developments in direct filtration, principally as a means of meeting turbidity standards in an economical manner, suggest that this process can be used for removing color and turbidity from highly colored water. Under other conditions ozonation as a pretreatment to direct filtration can improve filtered water turdity. Includes 15 references, table, figures.
