This standard covers copper sulfate for use in the treatment of municipal and industrial water supplies. The standard discusses general procedural issues, such as affidavit of compliance and basis for rejection; storage, handling, and disposal considerations; physical and chemical requirements; sampling and inspection, packaging and shipping, and marking; and testing methods.
The addendum to ANSI/AWWA B602-91 Standard for Copper Sulfate revises or replaces Page vi, Sec. III; Page vi, Sec. V; and Page 4, Sec. 2.3.
