Description
This paper presents the approaches taken by different utilities to prepare for the possible future stringent limits on disinfection by-products (DBPs) under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Factors influencing the formation of DBPs are reviewed along with the options available for controlling DBP formation.
