This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of smart controllers and how they calculate irrigation schedules. The benefits of using smart controllers are presented for commercial and residential sites, along with a holistic approach to landscape water management, irrigation system maintenance, and landscape irrigation efficiency. Presentation conclusions indicate that: the irrigation system design and maintenance are thefoundation for water use efficiency;smart controllers provide an important tool forappropriate irrigation scheduling; and,a holistic approach to landscape water managementwill ensure optimum water use efficiency and asuccessful landscape.
