Description
This poster paper describes new approaches to overcome the analytical difficultiesdescribed. Advances in the characterization of the chemical constituents ofthe mixed oxidant solutions are presented and the analytical strategiesproposed include the following:radical species (OH radicals and ClO<sub>2</sub>) determination using ElectronParamagnetic Resonance (EPR);oxyhalides determination in mixed oxidant solution using ionchromatography (IC); and,disinfection byproduct (DBP) determination in chlorinated water for the indirect measurement ofoxidant species other than chlorine.
