This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting the project objective that includes the following: to develop an Integrated Water ResourcesPlan (IWRP) that identifies a mix of waterresources that could reliably meet water supplyneeds of selected growth scenarios. The scope of the IWRP is presented and includes the following topics: profile ofWestern Placer County in California;regional analysis;existing conditions, general plans, specificplans, and other proposals;Sacramento Area Council of Governments(SACOG);surface water, groundwater, recycled water; and,short-term and long-term droughts.
