This powerpoint presentation begins by providing a brief overview of Ontario’s Clean Water Act. It presents information on the Great Lakes Basin context for source water protection (SWP), including: Great Lakes and impacts of urbanization; effects of wet weather flow on near-shore zone of Lake Ontario; and, pollution sources to Great Lakes near-shore.
