Description
This paper will examine one treatment option available to small utilities, the installation of package treatment plant technology. The advantages, disadvantages and costs of various types of package technology is discussed. Various aspects of cost reliability and ease of operation that make this type of technology more appropriate for small community operations than traditional full-scale conventional treatment plants are evaluated.
